One of the earliest planned features of melative was the “note” which has become known on the site as a reflection. More about the stimulation can be found here, but it is important to state that these are not intended as blogs, but as a personal notepad which reflections can be attached to media.

While it is probably easiest to consider reflections as categorized towards titles, or even as micro-blogs, it may be more useful to think of them as messages to a title; one’s inner thoughts, feelings, or ideas.
Key Attributes
These are identical to Wishes, except that a basis is not required; the general selector takes care of this. They also include the following fields:
- subject
- A title for the reflection (optional, max 128 characters)
- reflection
- The content of the reflection (required, blob field)
Future Features
Two main additions which I would like to implement are comments, viewing stats, and title relation indexing of reflections. Comments, I feel are not necessary, but feedback is nice, and bouncing ideas back and forth between users is something encouraged. Viewing stats will simply allow users to see their unique traffic to each reflection or media/titles within reflections; for the self-conscious types. Of course, IP information shall remain hidden. Lastly the relation indexing simply allows a reflection to connect to other various objects on melative, such as creators, characters or other titles.
